Size

For the best fit, match the below dimensions to your pet's measurements as closely as possible. If your pet falls somewhere between two sizes, we advise ordering the larger of the two.

Paw Width: With your pet's paw on the ground on top of a piece of paper, mark the left and right side at the widest point of your pet's paw, which is usually near the base of the toes.

Sock Length: This is the total length of the sock itself.

Measure the distance between the marks and compare to size chart.

Tip: Make sure your dogs dewclaw is also covered by the sock.

Amazing if you're patient

When I first got these, I thought they weren't going to work. My dog fought me on them and the sizing. However, over time, they stretched out a bit and he doesn't mind them anymore. In a rush, they're hard to take off because of the Velcro strap (they snap off with buttons) but if you're patient, they're quite user friendly. I love that the traction is on both sides so even if it slips around, my boy is covered. He gets up easier (he has arthritis so it's hard either way) on our hardwood floors. He doesn't have to struggle and slide around. I'm really pleased. I have a 69 pound golden retriever with smaller pounds and ordered a size 5. Overtime they stretched perfectly.
Not big enough

I have a lab that injured his foot and needed to have it covered. Thought these would work so ordered the biggest size but they are not long enough to stay on his foot. Pretty sure if I put them on all his feet before a walk I would be picking them all up along the way. May work well for a smaller dog but not big enough for a large dog.
Solves Two Problems and Cute too

These provide much needed traction on the hardwood floors. My 15 year old girl's back paws were slipping. She walks around comfortably and confidently with these on. She has arthritis in on of her front paws and puts her paw up when the ground outside is frozen in the winter. These provide extra insulation from the cold ground when going out to potty.
No clicking nails on hardwood floor

The socks work great stopping the clicking sounds of the nails on hardwood floor and they do help prevent our dog from losing her traction. However, the placement of the velcro strap is way too high and constantly having to pull the socks back up. (Remember how your socks would always make it to the bottom of your boots when you were playing outside in the snow as a kid and you had to take your boots off to pull your socks back up? That's what we have to do) If the straps were placed lower they would be excellent. They turn easily as well, but they do have rubber traction on both sides. They fit true to size it definitely helped my dog walk more she has spinal issues and they help her grip onto the floor I would recommend these to anybody and I like that they have velcro around the top to hold them on her feet

These arrived about a week before my beloved Riley passed away. I wish I'd found them earlier because they really gave him a new found sense of stability that he'd lost due to his joints getting weak & arthritis. They were easy on & for a pooch who NEVER liked his paws being messed with, he easily accepted them. They're not tight or non-breathable like the rubber ones that are like balloons, those caused his feet to swell up. But instead they were soft, with the no-slip soles & they REALLY worked for him. I wish I'd gotten to see him wear them longer. Attached is a pic of him in them before he passed.

I originally thought the concept was ridiculous. However my little 17 year old puppy's Back legs were sliding all over the floor and out from under him at times. By adding the socks he walks and can eat comfortably. Best purchase I have made in suite a while.
Not Suitable for Every Dog

I bought these because they looked so cute I love getting my dog a winter wardrobe. The problem is that she wore them for 10 minutes and they tore immediately just walking around the house.

My old girl was having trouble keeping her footing on the hardwood floors. These little socks were so helpful to her. Since they were non-skid on the bottom and the top, it was okay if they turned around. Cute too!
